Ainu Culture
The Ainu are indigenous people in Japan. They developed a unique culture including the Ainu language and a “spiritual culture” of believing that everything in nature is Kamuy (“deity” in Ainu). Traditional music with special instruments as well as uniquely embroidered patterns, wood carvings and other crafts are also part of their culture.
